21.05.2010The definite molecular diagnosis in patients with muscular dystrophies often requires the assessment of muscular expression of multiple proteins in small amounts of muscle tissue. The sample material obtained in muscle biopsies is limited and the measurement of multiple proteins is often restricted to conventional, non-quantitative assays, i.e. immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting. Here, we demonstrate that reverse protein arrays are a novel and excellent material-saving method for the measurement and quantification of changes in protein expression between healthy and diseased muscle tissue as well as cultured primary myotubes.

Zeptosens, as a single source provider of reverse protein array systems, recommends the NanoPlotter for the spotting of picoliters of complex samples on ZeptoMARK chips.
Reproducible spotting of samples on ZeptoMARK chips is achieved with the NanoPlotter, which is available in different configurations to optimally fit customers’ applications. Highly accurate spotting with a variety of samples derived from cells, tissues, as well as body fluids using ZeptoMARK buffers is one of the hallmarks of the NanoPlotter.

23.11.2009Zeptosens is pleased to announce the release of the new ZeptoVIEW 3 software. ZeptoVIEW 3 integrates the entire workflow of reverse array protein profiling studies: easily define your study, track your samples, analyze the data and export the results for further analysis. Find all the details in the new ZeptoVIEW 3 flyer.
12.08.200912 new assays are available for the ZeptoMARK reverse protein arrays:

Histone H4, Tau, Rb, FRS2-alpha pTyr436, PDK-1, PDK-1 pSer241, PTEN, PTEN pSer380 Thr382 Thr383, Tsc-2 (Tuberin), Tsc-2 pThr1462, beta-Catenin pSer45, beta-Catenin pSer45 Thr41.

The full list is available for download in the download section.
16.07.2009The University Complutense in Madrid discovered how different types of Salmonella reprogram host cell signaling upon infection. Effects on p38, JNK, ERK, Akt, GSK-3beta, FKHR and many more were measured by using Zeptosens' reverse protein arrays. Read the full publication in Proteomics.
21.04.2009ZeptoMARK Reverse Arrays are the leading technology to screen compound efficacy at a cellular level for multiple pathways and downstream targets in a flexible and cost effective manner. Besides the targets of interest, corresponding stress and apoptosis pathway markers can be measured simultaneously, giving an indication not only of compound efficacy but also toxicity.
